Second scavenger hunt! I had fun again, and the search entertained me on my (slow) easy run.
My list of 5 items included:
A car in disrepair
Crunch!
A rose bush
Guess who doesn”t know for sure what a rose bush looks like! Hint: it”s me
A ladder
I can no longer use an apostrophe in photo captions….or parentheses. Any one else have this problem? I will now be using a ” as an apostrophe. FYI.
Sand
Do beach runners run with shoes on or off? Do they get sand in them? I would get sand in them. I would hate that. I”d rather just look at the sand. [notice the ” in place of an apostrophe…also no parentheses]
A pair of orange running shoes
Totally saw these, but couldn’t get a photo, (OMG the apostrophe and parentheses started working!!) so I recreated them with this fancy paint picture.
As long as I’m enjoying myself, I’ll keep this up. This time, the random number generator selected numbers: 21, 90, 10, 89, & 17 from my master list. Actually, the random number generator picked 3 numbers we’ve already had, so I re-picked those…crazy, right? But, anyways, we’ll be looking for:
I thought it would be pretty easy, until…HORSE. Where am I going to see a horse? (Really, where?)

Nice job! I love the recreated photo with Paint 😉 I only managed to get 4 of the 5 this week… the one I thought would be easiest (orange shoes) ended up eluding me. I figured I’d be able to find at least one pair of orange kicks at one of my 2 run club events this week, but I skipped one and *totally* forgot to even look at the second. D’oh! Still had fun though! 🙂
I was pretty sure I wasn’t getting the orange sneakers, but then I saw them at the end of my last run for the week. I wish I could have got a picture, but by the time I even started to reach for my phone, the guy was already around the corner. I’m glad you like the recreation. 🙂
P.S. Sometimes a random guy rides a horse by the pond I usually run at, so I’m hoping I see him this week! Otherwise I have no freaking idea where I’d see a horse…
I really hope you see the horse! I don’t even think there’s somewhere within running distance of my house that I even have hope of seeing a horse…we’ll see, though!

Love the orange running shoes:-) !! I managed to find 4, the car in disrepair eluded me. This week I guess the American flag will be difficult, they don’t fly too many of those in Switzerland;-)

I love this idea! I totally want to join in. Especially since I live across the street from a horse farm (which is totally random for Alaska!). Sadly we don’t have a single traffic light in town – the closest one is 2 hours away!
Yay! I’m really hoping someone finds a horse. The rest of the stuff is pretty run of the mill (at least on my runs).
